In the family, siblings are our life companion - maybe from the cradle to the grave. I have one younger brother and the age gap between us is only 2 years. I'm 23 years old and he is 21. So we are very close and share same memory from when we were kids until now. We talk each other a lot. Having same interests like fashion, friendship, or songs, we keep talking and talking whole day. My mother once said to my brother, "Stop playing at your sister's room, go to your room and sleep now. It's too late."
Talking about his appearance, he closely resembles me. Especially when we laugh, our eyes are drooping and become thinner. Every friend of mine said "Wow, you guys look really same!" He is not extremely tall but he appears to be taller than he actually is due to his skinny body. His greatest interest in life is fashion. He is even searching for his clothes in the military right now. He calls me saying "Would you buy a cloth for me instead? I posted several cloths on my facebook page during computer using time. You can select one and please buy it for me." No one will stop him loving fashion.
Sometimes he acts curtly but very kind and sweet person. He is like baguette. The baguette is bread whose outside is hard to eat but inside of it is soft. So, at first he might seem cold but when you get used to him, he'll treat you with whole heart. I have one episode about that. One day, I had to stay school and do some works until late night. After the works, I took a bus and when I became close to my hometown, my phone rang. It was my brother. He said he had to go to bank to put some money on his accounts right now and he would pick me up on the way to bank. I said okay and we met at the bus stop. The bank was on the way to home. We found ATM inside of it and I urged him to do what you had planned. Then he suddenly said, "I changed my mind. Let's just go home". And then I realized that he just said to go to bank because he wanted to escort me to home since it was too late. I was touched by his behavior and bought some snacks to him. We didn't show direct appreciation to each other but we could know and feel that.
As I said above, my brother would live nearly same period with me. He is my family, brother and friend. We always help each other and keep a good relationship. After completing his military service, we plan to go travel together. I hope he would be safely discharged from the service. |

Hi Minnjung, this is Mi Hyeon. I enjoyed your descriptive essay on your friend!
1. I think your brother is a person who is a good friend to you as well as being a reliable brother.
2. He is a person who looks like his sister, Minjung, and is tall and skinny. If he has your smile, I could guess he has a really nice smile!
3. He looks very like you and he said "would you buy the clothes for me instead?". I guess he always searches for nice clothes to where! And I can tell that he is a sisterlover from your mother's saying!
4. I did not have any part where I could not understand.
5. I think Minjung chose this person because he is her best friends for life.
6. I have two questions, Is there any memory shared between you and your brother? For example, going on a holiday or something! And also, When he gets married, will you cry?
See you in class!
Hi MinJung, this is MinGu.
ReplyDelete1. Just from reading your essay, I clearly got the idea how your brother would look like.
2. Well the first details was from your claim that he looks just like you, along with the same interests and smiles gave me a clear idea that he would be a person just like you.
3. I was able to find out about his personality during the part where your mother told him to go to his room. My brother likes me a lot and he usually stays in my room as well!
4. Your essay was clear and easy to understand!
5. I would say you chose this person because he is the closest person to you. (Brothers and sisters are always the biggest supporters)
6. In the next draft, I would like to see the best moment you've had with your brother.
